Don is a trained pharmacist, bringing over 30 years of pharmacy operating experience and leadership. Over the last 15+ years, Don’s focus has been in specialty pharmacy. Don led a major division turnaround for Coram Prescription Services and was co-founder of CuraScript. After the sale of CuraScript to Express Scripts, he ran specialty pharmacy operations for Express Scripts and oversaw the successful acquisition and integration of Priority Health.
As a trained pharmacist, Jeff brings over 25 years of pharmacy operating experience with a focus in specialty pharmacy. Prior to joining the AcariaHealth team, Jeff was co-founder and director of Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals and vice president of purchasing & manufacturer relations for MedMark. Jeff founded Fisher’s Specialty Pharmacy Services and Fisher’s Pharmacy, where he served as president and CEO.
Steve brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare and specialty pharmacy financial management. As AcariaHealth’s Chief Financial Officer, he manages all financial functions and is actively involved in the company’s strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and product cost analysis. Prior to joining AcariaHealth, Steve was responsible for the financial reporting and led diverse teams as Chief Financial Officer for Florida’s Blood Centers, and for CuraScript.
With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, Carmen brings a unique perspective to AcariaHealth. She was a clinical nurse for 15 years, and spent 15 years in the pharmacy benefit management and specialty pharmacy industries. Prior to joining AcariaHealth, Carmen was executive vice president and chief client officer for Access MediQuip. She served as senior vice president in sales and account management for CuraScript and vice president in the managed care division for Express Scripts.
Sean brings over 20 years of experience in Healthcare Technology. He now manages AcariaHealth’s robust technology platform. Before joining the AcariaHealth team, he led many enterprise specialty pharmacy technology initiatives for top companies including Stadtlanders, CuraScript, Medmark, Medco, Humana and Abbott Labs. He is also the founder and president of Creehan & Co.
Matt is a registered pharmacist and brings over 19 years of clinical and operational experience in specialty pharmacy to the AcariaHealth team. His expertise provides exceptional support and solutions for AcariaHealth’s patients and partners. His prestigious past titles include co-founder and pharmacist-in-charge for Choice Source as well as co-founder and president of Specialty Therapeutic Care.
Cynthia is a senior HR executive, with extensive experience partnering with leadership teams of both venture-backed start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, working within a variety of business situations such as joint ventures, acquisitions and mergers. She has comprehensive experience in all aspects of Human Resources management, specializing in creating and leading client-service based Human Resources functions. She also has additional direct Operations Management experience running a 24/7 international call center. Previously, she served as VP, Human Resources of a national healthcare organization.
With more than 15 years of healthcare experience, Karuna brings a unique perspective to AcariaHealth. Prior to joining AcariaHealth, Karuna was in private practice. Before she opened her own firm, Karuna was in-house legal counsel to Express Scripts and its subsidiary CuraScript. Karuna has also served as Director of Corporate Compliance for a hospital system in Melbourne, Florida and also for a large health insurer in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Bringing over 21 years of clinical experience in hemophilia, Charlene is a registered pediatric nurse. She spent the early years of her career in key positions including marketing manager and owner of Choice Source, senior regional district manager of Caremark and is co-founder and senior vice president of Specialty Therapeutic Care.
Patty is a registered nurse with more than 24 years of healthcare experience. She spent 15 years as a clinical nurse and 8 in Liver Transplant Coordination. She co-founded ITSRx Specialty Pharmacy and was Director of Clinical Programs, which included overseeing sales and marketing initiatives. She successfully launched ITSRx’s nationally recognized Hepatitis C Program and led its patient education and training efforts.
